FLORENCE, S.C. – Junior
Matthew Copeland finished tied for 21
st individually to lead Wofford in its first spring tournament at the Raines Company Intercollegiate, hosted by Francis Marion University, over the weekend at the Country Club of South Carolina in Florence, S.C.

Copeland, a native of Maryville, Tenn., stayed the course through the entirety of the event, firing an even-par 72 in each round to finish with a total score of 216, as Wofford finished seventh as a team for the weekend.

Sophomore
Matthew Larkin finished tied for 28
th among the field, opening with a 1-under par 71 in the first round before finishing 1-over (73) and even-par in the second and third rounds, respectively, to finish 2-over with a total score of 218.

Junior
Walker Jones finished tied for 38
th, recording an even-par 72 in the second round prior to a rough third round that would see the junior finish with a total score of 221. Senior
Ryan Marter recorded a 1-under par 71 and even-par 72 in the first and second rounds, respectively, prior to lapsing in the third round to finish with a score of 222.

Nick Willis also finished with a total score of 222, highlighted by a solid second round performance that saw four birdies to record a 1-under par 71. Freshman
Harry Jones rounds out the Terriers, finishing with a total score of 223 on the weekend.

Next, Wofford is back in action on February 22, traveling to Hilton Head, S.C., to compete in the Pinnacle Bank Intercollegiate, hosted by Francis Marion University at the Palmetto Hall Golf & Country Club.
