AIKEN, S.C. – Junior Walker Jones (+3) collected his fourth career top-20 finish on the final day of competition at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate, hosted by USC Aiken, on Tuesday afternoon, as Jones finished with a three-round career-low of 213 to pace Wofford to a 10th-place finish out of a competitive 15-team field at the par-70 Palmetto Golf Club.

Jones was excellent for the Terriers over the first two rounds of competition on Monday, recording a 1-over-par 71 in the first round, as a monster second round that saw seven birdies ensued to see Jones match his 18-hole career-low with a 2-under-par 68.

The Sumter, S.C. native finished the tournament with a team-best 11 birdies, as he then posted a 74 in Tuesday's final round to notch the career-low 213 total.

Wofford (+37) was slated as high as eighth after Monday's first two rounds, though, the Terriers finished with a score of 300 on the final day to drop two spots into 10th. Seventh-ranked Clemson (-19) won the tournament's crown, followed by UNCW (-12), fourth-ranked Division II USC Aiken (-9), Furman (-7) and VCU (E). No. 2-ranked Jacob Bridgeman (-11) of No. 7 Clemson was the tournament's individual medalist, finishing two strokes ahead of Furman's No. 95 Keller Harper (-9).

The Terriers scored wins over Winthrop (+38), High Point (+40), Francis Marion (+43), Samford (+45) and Army West Point (+76).

Overall, Wofford tallied 37 birdies over the tournament's two days, including 16 in Monday's second round.

Sophomore Jackson Hill (+10) finished tied for 39th, while sophomore Matthew Larkin (+12) was slated tied for 46th to round out the Terriers within the top 50. Hill combined for eight birdies on Monday to fire an even 70 in the first round, followed by a 2-over-par 72 in the second to see himself in 27th-place prior to finishing 8-over in a rough third rounds.

Larkin opened with a 4-over-par 74 in the first round, before holding steady with a birdie on the No. 4 hole to finish 3-over after Monday's second round. The sophomore then recorded a pair of birdies in round three, though, a costly double bogey on hole No. 3 would ultimately see Larkin finish with a 5-over-par 75 to end tied for 46th.
