SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Senior
Ryan Marter (-7) made history for the Wofford men's golf program on Tuesday afternoon, claiming the individual title at the Wofford Invitational to pace the Terriers to a runner-up finish and become the first Wofford player to finish as the individual medalist since the event's establishment in 1988.

Marter finished with a career-low score of 209 for the tournament, as he entered the par-4 18th hole with a one-stroke lead over Georgia State's Maxence Mugnier and WCU's Pierre Viallaneix.
