The Terriers enter the 2021 Southern Conference Tournament as the #1 seed after clinching the regular season championship with a shutout win in the final game of the season ... It is the first regular season title for Wofford since joining the league in 1998 and the first time with the #1 seed ... Wofford will face #4 seed Western Carolina in the opening game, with #2 seed Samford and #3 seed Mercer also qualifying for the tournament ... Wofford has a 35-19 overall record and a 21-9 mark in the SoCon after a series win against Mercer last weekend ...
