SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford College softball head coach Mark Line has announced that Cadan Brinkman and Gracie Parker have signed letters of commitment to join the team next fall. The inaugural freshman class now includes seven student-athletes. 
 
Cadan Brinkman, from Bloomington, Illinois, is an infielder at Normal Community High School. In 2021, she was named the conference player of the year and earned second team All-State honors. For her high school career, she has a batting average of .452 and a .510 on base percentage. She has earned All-Conference honors for the past three seasons, along with All-Academic first team honors. She also has played volleyball and ran track, along with being a member of the National Honor Society.
 
Gracie Parker, a middle infielder from Concord, North Carolina, has started for four seasons at Hickory Ridge High School. She was named a 2020 Charlotte Observer Spring Sports All-Star as she led the team in RBIs and home runs in the shortened season. In 2021 she tied for the team lead in runs scored. The team has won three straight conference championships. She is a member of the Beta Club and National Honor Society.
 
The eligibility of all student-athletes is contingent upon admission to Wofford College and compliance with all NCAA rules, including registration with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
