SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford volleyball head coach
Lynze Roos has announced the addition of five student-athletes who signed National Letters of Intent or letters of commitment to join the Terriers next fall.
Â
"Wofford Volleyball couldn't be more excited about the young women coming to join our program next fall," said Roos. "Individually, each will add something special and unique to our team – but as a group, I believe they have the potential to leave a lasting impact on our program."

Anna Adcock is a 6-1 middle blocker from Lutz, Florida. Adcock owns 130 career blocks with her Steinbrenner High School squad while hitting .368. Her 2023 campaign featured 61 denials and a .571 hitting clip. A team captain, Adcock guided her team to a pair of district championships. With her club, OTVA, Adcock became a Team Florida nominee and won the 2023 AAU national championship. Off the court, Adcock is involved in numerous clubs and community service efforts, including FCA, Beta Club and volunteering at St. Joe's Children's Hospital. Athleticism is in her family, as her father, Brian, was a center for the Auburn football team from 1992-95.
Â
"It's easy to fall in love with volleyball when you watch Anna Adcock play," said Roos. "She loves to compete and bring out the best in her teammates. She has energy on the court that is contagious, and she brings such strong work ethic to the floor."
Â
Bradley Brown is a 6-0 middle blocker from Florence, South Carolina. With Florence Christian School, Brown has won a region championship each of her four years in high school while finishing second in state in each of her final two seasons. A multi-time all-region honoree, Brown has also been named a North/South All-Star multiple times and was tabbed SCISA Region Player of the Year in 2022 and 2023. Brown boasts over 1,000 kills and 223 blocks alongside 608 digs and 156 aces.
Â
"Bradley has the potential to rival some of the best middles in our program," said Roos. "She is quick and springy – and she also has natural abilities that have allowed her to grow with each season we've watched her. She also loves the game of volleyball – so as she gains more experience, she is going to continue to improve."
Â
Megan Brown is a 5-10 defensive specialist from Charlotte, North Carolina. Brown has accrued over 1,000 kills and digs alongside 266 aces and 314 assists. Over her career, she has played multiple positions with success, serving as a setter, outside hitter and defensive specialist. With Gaston Day School, Brown has won three conference titles while claiming a state championship in 2021. She is a multi-time selection to First-Team NCISAA All-Conference and First-Team NCISAA All-State. Brown is also listed to the AVCA Phenom watch list. Brown will join her sister, Drew, in the collegiate ranks as she plays for the Lehigh volleyball team.
Â
"Megan can play multiple positions, and she has the heart of a competitor," said Roos. "We have watched her step into different roles on her teams and help them succeed. She is a player who brings stability to a passing line and to back court defense."
Â
Maddy Frazier is a 5-6 setter from Travelers Rest, South Carolina. A four-year varsity starter for her Travelers Rest High School squad, Frazier has earned four all-region and two all-state honors. She was named Region Player of the Year twice and has been a North/South All-Star MVP. With over 10 assists per set and 1,000 or more each season, she has topped the AAA level in South Carolina. With her Carolina One Volleyball club team, Frazier is an AVCA Phenom and was on the JVA watch list. A four-time all-region selection, she helped her squad reach nationals twice.
Â
"Maddy is a relentless worker," said Roos. "Watching her lead her teams and out hustle opponents on every point made her an easy choice for the Terriers. She consistently puts her attackers in a position to win the point, and she can defend the top players in our area. We love her moxie and determination on the floor."
Â
Chloe Smith is a 6-1 outside hitter from Louisville, Kentucky. With Assumption High School, Smith guided her JV squad to an undefeated championship season as a freshman before more success at the varsity level. With varsity, she won three-straight district titles, back-to-back region championships and a state title as a senior. She has earned multiple all-region honors alongside an all-state tournament team nod. Smith has tallied over 600 kills and more than 200 blocks. Not the first member of her family in college athletics, Smith is a cousin of the Brohm brothers, Jeff, Greg and Brian, former football players and current coaches.
Â
"What makes Chloe special is her ability to win at a high level," said Roos. "She has played for one of the most well-respected club and high school programs in the country and has received top-notch training and coaching. We are excited for her to bring that level of expectation and excellence into the gym every day."
Â
These five future Terriers will join the defending Southern Conference Tournament champions for the 2024 season next fall. Wofford is coming off that historic title and its first-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament after a 23-8 record with an 11-5 SoCon clip.
Â
The eligibility of all student-athletes is contingent upon admission to Wofford College and compliance with all NCAA rules, including registration with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
