SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College men's and women's cross country teams will compete in the 2024 Southern Conference Championship on Saturday, November 2, at the Furman University Golf Course. At the 2023 SoCon Championships, the women finished in seventh place and the men finished in tenth place.
 
The event will begin with the men's 8K race at 10 a.m., followed by the women's 5K race at 10:45 a.m. At the conclusion of the women's race, there will be an awards ceremony to recognize the top teams and individual runners.
 
For the Wofford men, Liam Jones has the top 8K time this season with a best of 27:02.20. Becca Hinds has the best 5K time this season for the women at 19:15.88, with Mary Claire Ridgeway at 19:19.10.
