SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford College head men's golf coach
Todd Eckstein has announced the 2025 spring schedule for the Terriers. The back half of the season begins in late February and features six total tournaments, culminating with the Southern Conference Championship in April.
Wofford opens the spring with a trip to Puerto Rico. The Terriers will compete in the Dorado Beach Classic hosted by UNCG over three days from February 23 to 25. The Terriers then return to the Palmetto State to compete in USC Aiken's Palmetto Intercollegiate. The event runs from March 10 to 11.
March remains busy with two more events on the slate. First, SoCon foe Mercer hosts the Linger Longer Invitational in Greensboro, Georgia. The three-day tournament takes place from March 16 to 18. Wofford then treks across the nation to Stanford, California, to participate in The Goodwin from March 27 to 29. The event is hosted by Stanford.
Wofford continues its competitive schedule with the penultimate event in Raleigh, North Carolina. NC State hosts the Stitch Intercollegiate from April 11-12. The season then concludes with the SoCon Championship in Greensboro, Georgia. The tournament runs for three days from April 20-22.
The Terriers are looking to build on a successful fall slate. Wofford secured a pair of top-10 finishes, most notably winning The Carolina Cup in October.
Ben Jordan secured low medalist honors in the event for his first-career win. The junior leads the team with a 73.00 stroke average, 15
th in the conference. Freshman
Andrew Aquino has burst on the scene as another top Terrier, earning SoCon Golfer of the Week honors and checking in at 16
th in the league with a 73.08 stroke average right behind Jordan.
