SPARTANBURG, S.C- Wofford College softball head coach Chelsea Butler has unveiled the 2025 schedule for the Terriers, which includes 55 games in four months. Wofford will host multiple tournaments, including the Southern Conference Tournament, at Hope Field this year as the softball program enters its second year.

We get to welcome a ton of quality opponents to Hope Field this spring, as well as travel to some great venues in college softball." said Coach Chelsea Butler "The Southern Conference remains a very strong softball conference, and we are looking forward to competing against our SoCon opponents. Team One set the bar high, but Team Two is looking forward to the challenge! To have the opportunity to host the SoCon tournament in year two of our program is a great honor and we are ecstatic to host our conference opponents this May!" 

The season opens with Wofford hosting the Terrier Invite on February 7-9 with Youngstown State, Towson and Dayton coming to Spartanburg. This will be the second straight season Wofford has hosted this tournament. The Terriers will then travel to Stetson University to play in the Hatter Classic from February 14-16. 

Wofford will travel back home for a month-long homestand, playing Presbyterian on February 19.  Then from February 21-23, Wofford will co-host the Sparkle City Invitational with USC Upstate as Colgate, North Carolina A&T, South Carolina State and Eastern Kentucky come to Hope Field. Next up, Wofford will host University of Northern Iowa on February 25 before hosting the Wofford Invitational February 27- March 2, with Queens, Buffalo and University of North Dakota in attendance. Wofford will play host to College of Charleston on March 5, and will play a double header against Gardner-Webb on March 11. The final matchup of the homestand will be a three-game series against the University of South Dakota from March 14-15.  

Wofford travels to Presbyterian on March 19 before coming back home to open Southern Conference play against Furman and their high-powered offense on March 22-23. Wofford will close out the month of March on the road with a game at USC Upstate on the 26 as well as games on March 29-30 at UNC Greensboro.  

On April 1, Wofford will host Winthrop before going to Columbia, South Carolina to face South Carolina on April 2. April 5-6 will see Mercer coming to Hope Field before a short stint away from home. The Terriers will travel to Western Carolina on April 12-13 and face off at Winthrop on April 15. Wofford will then have a homestand, first playing defending Southern Conference champions Chattanooga on April 18-19, then USC Upstate on April 23 and finally ETSU on April 26-27. The last regular season series will be at Samford on May 3-4. Starting May 7, the Southern Conference tournament will begin and will be hosted at Hope Field.
