Wofford Men’s Soccer Signs Evan Through Team IMPACT

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – On Wednesday, the Wofford men's soccer team announced a new team member, signing 10-year-old Evan through Team IMPACT.

Evan officially signed with the team yesterday at the Galleria in the Michael S. Brown Village Center. He will participate in many activities with Wofford, including games, practices and other team events, over the next two years.

Team IMPACT, a national non-profit organization, has developed a unique multi-year program that matches children facing serious illness and disability with college athletic teams across the country. Based on a clinical modal, Team IMPACT guides a symbiotic relationship between teams and children focused on socialization, empowerment, and resilience.

"We are excited to add Evan to our team," said head coach Ryan Osborne. "His work ethic, attitude and dedication are infectious, and all resemble the qualities we want in our team."
