As we come to the end of October, we are quickly wrapping up fall sports and preparing for the start of basketball season. Football defeated Furman for the third-straight season and will host Samford as part of Family Weekend this Saturday. Next week, we hope to see you at Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium when the women open their season on Monday (Nov. 3) night at 7:00 p.m., followed by the men hosting Milwaukee on Saturday (Nov. 8) afternoon at 2:00 p.m.
ATHLETICS HALL OF FAME ANNOUNCED
The Hall of Fame Committee of the Wofford College Terrier Club Board of Directors has announced four former student-athletes as the 2025 inductees into the school's Athletics Hall of Fame. The group includes Catie Cronister '20 (volleyball), Shane Kirkley '08 (baseball), Joe Newman '20 (football), and Chloe Wanink '20 (women's basketball). The Hall of Fame induction ceremony is scheduled to take place on January 31, 2026, prior to the nationally broadcast basketball game against ETSU.
In addition, the Hall of Fame will honor David '74 and Sandra Neugent as the Distinguished Service Award recipients. Steve and Ashley Allen were named Honorary Lettermen but will receive their award at a later date.
OLD MAIN MADNESS
To help kick off the basketball season, we hosted the first "Old Main Madness" on Thursday, Oct. 23. A basketball court was set up on the seal in front of Old Main, along with food trucks and plenty of giveaways. The men's and women's teams competed in a three-point contest and a shooting challenge, before a student game of knockout closed out the event. We appreciate all the fans who attended!
TWO HOME FOOTBALL GAMES LEFT
The Terriers only have two more home games at Gibbs Stadium this fall. The November 1 contest against Samford will be part of Family Weekend, while the November 22 game will be senior day and a salute to service. Single game tickets are available and the price remains one of the best values in the Southern Conference. Click
here for more information and tickets.
HALLOWEEN TERRIER TOWN
Enjoy one more day of trick or treating in Terrier Town on November 1! Wofford Athletics will be giving away candy to all children dressed up in costume throughout Terrier Town. Be sure to visit the men's basketball team as well for autographs. The Terrier Town fan fest outside of Gibbs Stadium includes food trucks and family-friendly activities, and it opens three hours before each game.
TERRIER CLUB GIVING
The Thanksgiving season is a great time to Give Thanks and there is no better way to do that than to donate to the Terrier Club in honor of a fellow Terrier. Whether it's a fellow fan, former teammate, or Terrier alum, support the Terrier Club today and Give Thanks! An athletic scholarship can be started with a $25,000 donation payable over five years. For more information, please contact
Patrick Wheeler at

The Terrier Club is well on its way towards the 2025 calendar year goal of $3,850,000 thanks to the support of Terrier Club members. There is still time to join the Terrier Club before the year ends to help reach both the fundraising goal and the overall donor goal of 2,500 donors.

FALL SPORTS UPDATE
The men's soccer team had an exciting 2-2 draw at Wake Forest last week. The Demon Deacons were ranked #1 in the nation earlier this season. Wofford closes out the regular season on Saturday night against Furman. The SoCon Tournament will begin on Friday, Nov. 7, with the Terriers as the #5 seed.
Volleyball had wins over Western Carolina and The Citadel over the weekend, putting them at 7-3 in the SoCon standings and tied for second place. They will be at home on Friday and Saturday night during Family Weekend at Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium for the final two home games of the season.
The women's soccer team closed out the regular season with wins over VMI and Furman, along with a draw on the road at Mercer. The Terriers will begin the Southern Conference Tournament on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at Snyder Field against The Citadel.
Cross country will compete in the 2025 Southern Conference Championship on Saturday, Nov. 1, in Mill Spring, N.C.
WEIGHT ROOM UPGRADES
The Joe E. Taylor Center renovations were largely completed in October. The facility was outfitted with all-new weight equipment and flooring in this donor-supported project. The next step will be the creation of a fueling station, with construction scheduled to begin in January of 2027. A new excellence fund has been created to help support the fueling station and the nutrition needs of our student-athletes. Interested donors can contact me or the Terrier Club.
