Â

Â
"Laney has battled this year to improve her range and her leadership on the floor," said Roos. "She sets the tone in practice with her relentless mindset. Her passing allows our setters to run our offense, and she's an intense competitor. She's always looking for ways to make us better and challenge herself. Laney keeps us steady, and I'm really excited for her to receive this honor."
Bradley Brown, a sophomore from Florence, South Carolina, becomes the first sophomore at Wofford to earn first team honors since 2017. Brown is currently second on the team with 229 kills, and her .337 hitting percentage places her fifth in the conference. Defensively, she is second on the team with 86 blocks. Brown has 26 solo blocks on the season, which is second-most in the SoCon. She was named the SoCon Offensive Player of the Week after a career-high 16 kills on a .842 hitting percentage against Western Carolina. She was just the second Terrier in program history to record 15 or more kills while hitting at least .800.
Â
"Bradley has added more weapons to her arsenal this year," said Roos. "She arrived this fall ready to compete and elevate her game. Bradley is a force at the net, and she continues to improve. She is a really fun player to watch, and she continues to challenge our blockers and attackers in the gym. We are excited about her future!"
Â
Chloe Smith, a sophomore from Louisville, Kentucky, is leading the team with 3.40 kills per set and 3.94 points per set, ranking sixth in the conference in both categories. Smith had a career-high 24 kills to go along with 10 digs at South Carolina earlier this season. She was named the SoCon Offensive Player of the Week on November 3 after totaling 27 kills on a .328 hitting percentage across two matches.
Â
"Chloe stepped into a big role this year, and she handled it so well from the first whistle," said Roos. "She's a competitor with great six rotation skills, and she had to carry a heavy load this season. Chloe really stepped up for us, and she has an incredibly bright future.
Â
Annemarie Rakoski, a senior middle blocker from Atlanta, Georgia, had a dominant regular season. The four-time SoCon Defensive Player of the Week is currently averaging 1.29 blocks per set, which is second in the conference and 47

Â
"For Annemarie to be honored this season is definitely an affirmation of her entire career," said Roos. "She has worked incredibly hard to be the force that she is at the net. This season, she grew offensively and her blocking continued to score points for us - even against a tough non-conference schedule. She showed that she could compete at an elite level at the net. I'm so proud that the coaches rewarded her efforts this season."
