After dropping a close 4-3 midweek contest at Presbyterian, the 11-2 Wofford Terriers will travel to Lexington, Kentucky, for a match-up against No. 23 Kentucky. The Wildcats are 10-1 on the season and fresh off a 16-0 triumph over Eastern Kentucky in midweek play. The teams have met five total times with UK holding a 3-2 series lead dating back to 1959. The last meeting was at Wofford in 2019 to open the season, and the then No. 8 Wildcats took a 6-1 victory. Wofford's two wins in the series came in the 1959 first meeting, 14-8 at home, and in 2016, 5-4, also in Spartanburg. This will be the first time the teams have ever faced off in Lexington. This is Wofford's first three-game series against a ranked team since 2022, which was when the Terriers took two-of-three at No. 18 Dallas Baptist. That was also Wofford's last win over a ranked opponent.
