Spartanburg, S.C.- The 2025 Academic All-District® Softball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Wofford College had four student-athletes selected this season. The selections include Margaret Axelson, Abby Greenwood, Hope Ingle and Gracie Parker.
Margaret Axelson is a junior pitcher from Atlanta, Georgia. She finished the 2025 season with the first sub- 2.00 ERA in program history with a 1.99 ERA in 151 innings pitched with a 14-9 record. Axelson also earned her second All-SoCon First Team selection this year. This is Axelson's second Academic All-District honor, boasting a 3.91 GPA in Biology.
Abby Greenwood is a sophomore pitcher from King George, Virginia. She led the Terriers in strikeouts this year with 102, which was Wofford's first ever 100+ strikeout season by a pitcher in program history. Greenwood went 9-5 this season with a 2.18 ERA in 109 innings pitched. She earned All-SoCon Second Team honors this season and followed up with her first Academic All-District award in her career with a 3.59 GPA in Biology.
Hope Ingle is a senior catcher from Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee. She was one of Wofford's most dangerous bats this past season, clubbing eight home runs with nine doubles and 37 RBI while hitting .288 with a .494 slug and a .381 on-base percentage. She earned her first ever All-SoCon First Team selection. She concludes her career at Wofford with an Academic All-District selection with a 3.67 GPA in Sociology and Anthropology.
Gracie Parker is a redshirt sophomore from Concord, North Carolina. Parker was the Terriers' primary third baseman this past year and hit .250 with a .326 slugging and a .346 on-base percentage. She scored 16 runs with four doubles and three triples which tied for the team lead. Parker was a defensive rock at the hot corner, being ranked 28th in the nation in assists and third in the SoCon this season with 125. She earned her first Academic All-District selection this year with a 3.61 GPA in Biology.
