SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford goalkeeper
Hannah Taylor has been named the Big South Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for games played February 2-February 9, as announced today by the league office. In addition, Mercer attacker Carolina Glus has been named the Offensive Player of the Week, while Longwood's Ava Bower has been named the Freshman of the Week.
Taylor, a sophomore from Cary, North Carolina, recorded 15 saves in Wofford's season opener at Davidson last Saturday. She posted a .517 save percentage after facing 39 shots after a full 60 minutes in net. They also picked up eight ground balls in the game. This set a new program record, beating the seven ground balls
Barrett Rowe recorded against Mercer on April 24, 2024.
This is the first Player of the Week award this season for the Terriers, and Taylor's first Player of the Week award of her career.

Wofford (0-1) will host Cincinnati on Friday, February 13, at Gibbs Stadium for a 2 p.m. contest that is available for streaming on ESPN+.
