DAVIDSON, N.C. – Wofford fell 6-1 to Southern Conference foe Davidson in women’s tennis action Friday afternoon in Davidson, N.C.

The Wildcats started the match clinching the doubles point by winning two of the three matches. Junior Cayley Wetzig teamed up with senior Adrian Hodges and captured the third doubles victory at the No. 2 slot defeating Michele Fanney and Teresa Wang 8-1.

In singles action, Wetzig claimed her second victory and the Terriers’ lone point of the match with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Fanney at the No. 4 position.

Wofford will wrap up the regular season Sunday when they travel to Greensboro, N.C., for a 1 p.m. SoCon contest against UNC Greensboro. The Terriers will then travel to Charleston, S.C., Thursday, April 17 for the conference tournament hosted by The Citadel.
