GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Wofford women’s tennis team fell 6-1 to nationally ranked No. 66 Furman in Southern Conference action Tuesday afternoon in Greenville, S.C.

Freshman Sonia Anand was the lone Terrier to capture a victory for Wofford with a defeat at the No. 6 position over Christina Swindall 6-4, 4-6, 11-9. Anand’s victory carries her to a 7-0 SoCon winning record.

Wofford will travel to Davidson, N.C., Friday for a 3 p.m. league contest against Davidson.
