SPARTANBURG, SC – Four Wofford men’s tennis players represented the Terriers this past weekend in the Gardner Webb University Fall Invitational. Stuart Robertson, Michael Schecter, Elliott Farmer, and Trey McKee competed over the course of the two day invitational.
Wofford players had the overall following results; Stuart Robertson’s singles results from the weekend were 1-1 while his doubles results were 1-2. Michael Schecter’s singles results from the weekend were 3-0 while his doubles results were 1-2. Elliott Farmer’s singles results from the weekend were 2-1 while his doubles results were 0-3. Trey McKee’s singles results from the weekend were 2-1 while his doubles results were 2-1.
Coach Ray spoke about the invitational. “This was a great event and I am grateful to Coach Mike Griffith of Garder-Webb for hosting the tournament. I thought our players did a good job of competing hard. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and got better from it. Each of our four players showed improvements from the beginning of the season.”
The Terriers host a tournament this weekend at Wofford starting Saturday October 10.
