Wofford head Coach Rod Ray said “UNCG has a very good team. We really needed to win what proved to be a very close doubles point. I thought we came out with good energy and put ourselves in position to take the point, but we made some mistakes and as good teams do, they held us accountable. In the singles, we had some chances to change the momentum and it didn’t work out the way we had hoped. We are disappointed, but we have a tough minded team and I have no doubt that we will bounce back strong”.
The Terriers will return to action on Saturday, March, 27th when the will travel to Chattanooga, Tennessee to take on UT Chattanooga.
