Spartanburg, S.C. – The Wofford men’s tennis team fell to Southern Conference rival Davidson 7-0 on Wednesday afternoon at the Reeves Tennis Center. The loss drops the Terriers to 7-9 on the year and 3-3 in the Southern Conference. Davidson improves to 10-5 and 4-2 in the Southern Conference.
Davidson took an early lead by winning all three doubles matches to give the Wildcats a 1-0 lead heading into singles play.
In singles action Davidson won all six matches to win 7-0. The Terriers put up a tough fight sending four matches to a decisive third set.
The Terriers will be back in action on Friday April, 2 when they will travel to Charleston, S.C. to take on the College of Charleston.
