GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The Wofford women’s golf team completed their second tournament with a 14th place finish at the UNCG Starmount Fall Classic with a team score of 984 over three rounds of play at the Starmount Country Club.

The Terriers, 330-330-324--984, finished 83 shots off of tournament winner Maryland.

Sarah Hurt paced the Terriers with a 77-85-80--242, while Anne Marie Covar finished with a 77-83-82--242.  Alex Hendricks carded a 91-79-80--250, and Tarah Taylor completed the three rounds with a 90-83-82--255.  Elizabeth Thompson rounded the the Terriers golfers with an 86-88-92--266.

Georgia State’s Charlotte Lorentzen won the event with a 75-69-74--218 by three strokes.

The Terriers will head to the Wendy’s Invitational on October 17 in Charleston, S.C. for their next tournament.
