HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Wofford’s Elizabeth Thompson finished in the top 25 with a 22nd place finish at the Southern Conference Women’s Golf Championship at the par-72, 5,975-yard Moss Creek Golf Club’s North Course.
 
Thompson shot a 78-80-83—241 to pace the Terriers, while Alex Hendricks and Anne Marie Covar and Lauren Dunbar finished tied for 34th with rounds of 81-81-85—247, 78-90-79—247 and 82-85-80—247 respectively.  Sarah Hurt carded an 84-85-90—259 to complete the Wofford lineup.
 
Chattanooga’s Jordan Britt took the top individual spot with a 77-71-74—222.
 
As a team, Wofford finished in ninth after a 319-331-327—977, while Chattanooga won with a 317-303-301—921.
