OCEAN ISLE, N.C. – The women's soccer team lost its final exhibition game of the 2013 season to the defending national champion, and number No. 1-ranked University of North Carolina 4-0. The teams played the game in a format of three 30 minute periods.

The Terriers return to action to kick off the regular season when they travel to Rock Hill, South Carolina on Friday August 23rd to take on Winthrop University at 6:00 pm. The team's home opener is on Friday August 30th when they host Costal Carolina University on Snyder Field at 6:00 pm.
