GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Wofford College women's cross country team competed at the 44th annual Gene Mullin Furman Cross Country Invitational on Saturday morning on the Furman University Golf Course.
In the 5K race,
Alexa Golbus was the first Terrier to finish in 21:49.44.
Ashley Golbus (21:54.93),
Chandler Washburn (22:01.05),
Ashley McCreary (22:11.54) and
Morgan Schweers (23:33.98) also competed as part of the limited squad.
Overall, Furman took first in the women's event. Other teams competing were Milligan, Jacksonville State, Southern Wesleyan, Wofford and Brevard.
Both the men's and women's teams will be back in action on Friday, October 14 at the High Point Vert XC Invitational in the final race before the Southern Conference Championship on Saturday, October 29 in Chattanooga.
