BOONE, N.C. – The Wofford College men's and women's outdoor track and field teams completed the regular season on Saturday at the Mountaineer Open Outdoor hosted by Appalachian State. The Terriers had numerous top ten finishes in the meet and set three school records.

For the women,
Anya Bunao won the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 11:55.05.
McLeod Dean added a first place finish in the 200 meters in a school record time of 24.16 and she was third in the 100 meters.
Taryn Schoen won the 5,000 meters in 19:32.29.
Kassidy Morton took third place in the 200 meters with a school record time of 57.10. In the 800 meters
Madison Paraskeva was second in 2:20.63.
Mary Stewart Wilson finished the 1,500 meters in 4:49.72.
Sara Jane Hayes went 5.36 meters in the long jump and was seventh in the 100 meter hurdles. Wofford entered three teams in the 4x400 relay and took the top three spots, led by
Kassidy Morton,
McLeod Dean,
Amber Lust and Cairo Booker in first place.

Joe Harbacevich set a new school record in the 400 meters at 48.79 with a fourth place finish.
Jack Zemp was seventh in the 1,500 meters at 4:04.95 and
Ethan Epstein was fifth in the 5,000 meters.
Jonathan Hall was fourth in the 110 meter hurdles and third in the 400 meter hurdles.
Bosco Bapoupeleh was took fifth place in the 100 meters and
Ben Hensley was fourth in the 800 meters.
Hunter Griffin was the top Terrier in the shot put at 12.63 meters and
Gaston Hayworth threw the discus 39.88 meters.
Omar Mingo was third in the long jump at 6.60 meters and
Sam Robinson cleared 3.68 meters in the pole vault. The men's 4x400 relay team of
Bosco Bapoupeleh,
Cody Chavis,
Joe Harbacevich and
Ben Hensley was second overall.

The meet featured teams such as Gardner-Webb, High Point, Wingate, UNC Asheville, Lenoir-Rhyne, and Appalachian State.

The next competition will be the Southern Conference Championships on May 11 and 12 in Birmingham, Alabama, on the campus of Samford University.
