MADISON, Wisc. – Wofford sophomore
Hannah Steelman competed at the 2018 NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning in Madison, Wisconsin. In the 6K race on the Zimmer Championship Course, Steelman finished 76
th overall in a time of 20:56.3.

Dani Jones of Colorado finished first in 19:42.8, with Colorado taking the women's team title. New Mexico was second, followed by Oregon, Michigan and Stanford.

Steelman was the first Wofford cross country runner to ever qualify for the NCAA Championships. She also ran in the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships this past June, competing in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and the 5,000 meters.
