Box Score SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford men's tennis team fell 5-2 to Lipscomb on Friday afternoon at Reeves Tennis Center. With the loss Wofford falls to 8-3 while Lipscomb improves to 5-8.

The Terriers and Bison battled it out in the doubles matches as the final doubles match went into a tie breaker that allowed Lipscomb to grab the 1-0 lead. Wofford's lineup for doubles was as followed: #1

Javi Casasolas. Wofford got off to a great start as Cerbelli/Thomas won 6-1 but Lipscomb responded with a 6-3 win from the #3 position. With the team point hanging in the balance, Chousa/Crawford were defeated 7-6 in a tie breaker giving the Bison the 1-0 advantage.

Wofford jumped back in front with two straight victories in singles matches but Lipscomb then won three matches in a row to clinch the match. The Terriers lineup for singles was as followed: #1 Cerbelli, #2 Chousa, #3

Kyle Barr, #6 Williams. Barr and Williams picked up the lone points on the day for Wofford with 6-3, 6-3 and 6-2, 7-5 wins.

Wofford will return to the court on Sunday when the Terriers travel to Macon to face off against Mercer at 1 PM in the Southern Conference opener.
