Box Score MACON, GA. – The Wofford men's tennis team fell 5-2 to Mercer on Sunday morning in the Southern Conference Opener. With the loss Wofford drops to 8-4 as Mercer moves to 11-5.

The Terriers and Bears battled it out in the doubles competition but Mercer downed Wofford to take the early 1-0 lead. Wofford's lineup for doubles was as followed: #1

Javi Casasolas. Despite the loss, Wofford did pick up one win, thanks to Williams/Casasolas who downed their opponent 6-2.

Mercer continued the strong play in singles competition by winning four of the six matches to clinch the victory. The Terriers lineup for doubles was as followed: #1 Cerbelli, #2 Chousa, #3

Omar Williams. The Terriers did pick up two wins in the singles competition thanks to
Edu Villar and
Parks Schoen who defeated their opponents 2-6, 6-1, 7-5 and 6-4, 6-1 respectively.
