Box Score GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Wofford men's tennis team fell 5-2 at Furman on Wednesday afternoon. The Terriers were able to take an early 1-0 lead after doubles play but the Paladins responded to win five of six singles matches. With the loss Wofford falls to 10-9 overall and 2-4 in the conference while Furman improves to 17-6 and 5-1 in the conference.

Wofford began the day by securing the doubles point thanks to a dramatic win from the number two position. The Terriers lineup for doubles was as followed: No. 1

Omar Williams. After Furman won the first match, Williams/Thomas defeated their opponent 7-5 to even the doubles match a 1-1. With the team point up for grabs, Cerbelli/Casasolas won 7-6 to put Wofford ahead early.

Furman fought right back in singles play winning five of the six matches en route to the victory. Wofford's lineup for singles was as followed: No. 1 Cerbelli, No. 2 Chousa, No. 3

Kyle Barr. The Terriers lone victory came from Williams who defeated his opponent 6-0, 6-0 to move to 13-2 in singles play.

Wofford will conclude the regular season on Saturday afternoon when the team travels to Samford to face off against the Bulldogs at 12 PM.
