Box Score CHATTANOOGA, TN. – The Wofford men's tennis team fell to Furman 4-0 in the first round of the Southern Conference tournament on Friday morning. The loss ends the 2017-18 season for the Terriers who finish with a record of 10-11 overall and 2-5 in the conference.
Furman took an early 1-0 lead after winning two of three doubles matches against the Terriers. Wofford's lineup for doubles was as follows: No. 1

Jack Thomas. Casasolas/Cerbelli lead their opponent 5-2 prior to the match ending early when Furman clinched the team point.
After winning the doubles point, the Paladins went on to win the first three matches in singles to clinch the victory and eliminate Wofford. The Terriers lineup for singles was as followed: No. 1 Cerbelli, No. 2 Chousa, No. 3

Kyle Barr. Williams held a 6-1, 4-3 advantage over his opponent prior to the match clinching point for the Paladins and was the lone Terrier to win a set in singles play.
The Terriers end the season 10-11 overall and have now reached double-digit wins in four consecutive seasons. All 11 players on the roster picked up at least one singles or doubles victory on the season while five individuals eclipsed the double-digit mark. Seniors
