SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford men's golf head coach
Van Williams announced the 2021 spring schedule on Friday afternoon, as the Terriers prepare for its first weekend of competition since October on Saturday, February 6 at the Raines Intercollegiate, hosted by Francis Marion University, in Florence, S.C.

"We are excited to get back to tournament golf and compete," said head coach
Van Williams. "This has been a long time coming. Go Terriers!"
Six Terriers are slated to compete at the Country Club of South Carolina this weekend, including
Ryan Marter,
Matthew Copeland,
Walker Jones,
Harry Jones,
Matthew Larkin and
Nick Willis.
The tournament will consist of 54 holes of stroke play (Day One 36 / Day Two 18), as the field includes Charleston Southern, Francis Marion, Gardner-Webb, Georgia State, High Point, Kennesaw State, Middle Tennessee State, North Carolina Central, Presbyterian and Richmond. Wofford returns 11 from last year's squad, including Marter and Copeland – the team's leading returners from last season with averages of 73.33 and 73.56, respectively. The team also looks to receive contributions from seniors

The Terriers welcome the additions of first-years

John Fahey and
Harry Jones to the program.
After having the 2020 spring season cut short at the hands of the COVID-19 pandemic, Wofford was last in action on October 19-20 at the Bash in the Boro, hosted by Georgia Southern,
seeing Matthew Copeland and Ryan Marter finish within the top 10 individually.
After a week hiatus, the Terriers hit the course again for the Pinnacle Bank Intercollegiate in Hilton Head, S.C. on Feb. 22-23, followed by the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate on Mar. 8-9 in Aiken, S.C.
Wofford then travels to Pinehurst, N.C. for the Pinehurst Intercollegiate on March 12-14 prior to competing at the Furman Intercollegiate in Greenville, S.C. on March 26-28.
The Terriers then host the annual Wofford Invitational at the Country Club of Spartanburg on April 12-13 before preparing for the Southern Conference Championships, scheduled for April 19-20 at The Oconee course at Reynolds Lake Oconee.
