SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford College men's tennis head coach
Rod Ray has announced that Hugo Rask has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the team next fall.
A native of Strömstad, Sweden, Rask has competed in numerous international competitions. At the 2022 Corem Open in Sweden, he won a first place in singles and second place in doubles in the under 18 group. His father, Roger, was a professional skier and his mother, Helene Ohlsson, was a professional rower.
"Hugo is a tremendous win for our program," said head coach
Rod Ray. "He's a winner as a player and in the all of the other significant categories that we value. Today is an outstanding day."
The eligibility of all student-athletes is contingent upon admission to Wofford College and compliance with all NCAA rules, including registration with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
