SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford head women's golf coach Angie Ridgeway has announced the signing of Delaney Wade, who has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Terriers next season.
 
"Delaney is an accomplished golfer with outstanding character. We look forward to her arrival next fall!" said Ridgeway.
 
Wade is from Granger, Indiana, and attends Penn High School. She is a three-time All-State selection and four-time Conference MVP. Wade has been sectional individual champion four times and won the 2022 regional individual title. She was accepted into the 2023 Women's Western Junior field and won the 2021 Hoosier Junior Championship before being runner-up in the event in 2023. Three times has she finished in the top 15 at state, and Wade participated in the 2023 Indiana Junior PGA Championship.
 
With Wade's aid, her Penn High School squad has won multiple sectional titles, conference championships, regional titles and tallied a pair of top-10 results at state. This includes a high of fourth place in 2020. Wade owns a career-low round of 69.
 
Outside of golf, Wade is involved as a member of Med Club and Key Club. She is also a part of Student Athletic Leadership Council.
 
The eligibility of all student-athletes is contingent upon admission to Wofford College and compliance with all NCAA rules, including registration with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
