SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford head women's golf coach
Angie Ridgeway has announced the signing of Gabbie Crowfoot and Ashlyn Taylor as both have signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Terriers next season.
"I'm excited to get Ashlyn and Gabbie in the same year," Ridgeway said. "They are both dynamic and will make an impact on our team and our Wofford community."
Crowfoot is from Leicester, United Kingdom, and attends Loughborough College. She was the 2025 Loughborough College's Golfer of the Year. The back-to-back Leicestershire and Rutland Girls County Champion had a four-under 67 at the English Mixed Amateur Championship and a five-under 69 in the first round of the Intercollegiate. Crowfoot holds a top-three finish at the EMAC and participates at the Longcliffe GC.
Outside of golf, she is a Loughborough College sports student ambassador.
Taylor is from Atlanta, Georgia, and attends the Marist School. She is a two-time All-Area and All-State selection. She's also placed third at state her sophomore season and was state runner-up in her junior year. Taylor was also a part of the 6A Area Championship team in her freshman season and 6A State runners-up in her sophomore year.
Outside of golf, Taylor is also a two-time state champion in tennis and an All-Area flag football player.
The eligibility of all student-athletes is contingent upon admission to Wofford College and compliance with all NCAA rules, including registration with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
