Wofford Names AFL Student-Athlete Leaders of the Month For December

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford College and AFL have announced the Student-Athlete Leaders of the Month for December. The month's honorees are Luke Flynn from the men's basketball team and Laney Klika from the volleyball team.
 
Flynn, a sophomore from Marietta, Georgia, has started all 15 games this season for the Terriers. He is averaging 6.9 points per game with 4.5 rebounds per game and 24 assists. He is third on the team in free throw percentage. He had a career-high 16 points in the road win at Bellarmine. The team has started the season 10-5 overall and is 2-0 in SoCon play.
 
Klika is a junior from Novelty, Ohio. She was named the back-to-back SoCon Libero of the Year while also earning All-SoCon Second Team honors. Klika paced the conference with 5.02 digs per set in the regular season, ranking 13th in the nation. The volleyball team won its third-straight Southern Conference Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. In the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, they faced Kentucky, which reached the NCAA title game. She has been named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.
