SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Southern Conference announced its 2022 postseason men's golf awards on Monday afternoon, as Wofford's Harry Jones was named to the All-Southern Conference team as announced by the league office.
 
Jones, a sophomore from Augusta, Ga., collects his first all-SoCon honor after finishing 10^th in the league for the season with a 72.03 average through 33 rounds played, highlighted by an individual win in the fall and six top-20 finishes, including two inside the top 10. The nod marks his first career all-conference honor.
 
The sophomore finished under par in five tournaments, opening the 2021-22 season with a bang in winning low medalist at the Golfweek Fall Challenge, using 18 birdies to record a program record 17-under performance (199), including a first-round 65 for a career-low round and second lowest individual round in program history on Sept. 14. The performance marked the lowest 54-hole score and tournament score in relation to par in program history, while landing Jones his first career SoCon Men's Golfer of the Week award on Sept. 15. Jones followed with a pair of top-20 finishes to close the fall campaign, finishing tied for 16^th with a 1-under finish (215) at the Carolina Collegiate Invitational (Oct. 12) and tied for 15^th en route to a fourth-place finish at the Grandover Collegiate on Oct. 24.
 
Jones added three top-20 finishes in the spring, finishing 5-under (211) tied for 12^th at the Dorado Beach Collegiate on Mar. 1 and tied for 10^th at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate on Mar. 8. Following the Cleveland Palmetto, Jones finished 1-under in back-to-back tournaments at The Goodwin and Wofford Intercollegiate, finishing tied for 11^th at the Terriers' annual home tournament to help achieve Wofford's first Wofford Intercollegiate title at the Country Club of Spartanburg on Apr. 12.
 
Through two seasons with the Terriers, Jones holds a 72.64 average through 42 rounds played for his career.
