Wofford College Athletics

In 1983, Gibson was chosen to Wofford’s All-Time Football team as an offensive lineman. He was an all-state selection from 1972-74 and an all-district pick in 1972 and 1974. Gibson was an AP Little All-America pick in 1974 and an NAIA All-America selection in 1973 and 1974. Also lettered in baseball.
