Best earned All-Southern Conference honors in 1997 and 1998. She is one of only two Terriers in program history to earn All-SoCon accolades more than once. For her career, she scored 18 goals and added 14 assists for 50 career points. On the all-time career lists, she is fifth in goals scored, sixth in assists, fifth in points and fourth in shots. In 1997, she scored ten goals, becoming one of only five players in school history with ten or more goals in a season. She also holds the school record for shots in a game with thirteen in 1997 against College of Charleston. The native of Columbia, South Carolina, graduated in 2001.
