Daniel Lewis was a first team Associated Press All-American offensive guard in 1961. He was also named second team All-NAIA that season along with being selected to the All-State team. In 1962 he was offered a contract to join the Denver Broncos. He is a member of the All-Time football team that was selected in 1983 as a defensive lineman.
