Rice is Wofford basketball’s No. 9 all-time leading scorer with 1,593 points while holding school records for steals in a season (107) and career (289).

The Spartanburg native also set a Wofford mark for single-game three-point shooting percentage (87.5) when he hit 7-of-8 treys in a 1987 game at UNC Charlotte.

Rice was a team captain his senior year as he earned All-District honors with a 16.1 scoring average.  He topped Wofford as a junior with a 17.2 mark while shooting 51.2 percent from the field and 76.4 at the free-throw line.
