Mickle (1982-85) scored 1,574 career points to rank tenth all-time at Wofford. He led the Terriers to a 21-11 record during his senior season as team captain. He led the nation with a 72.5 field goal percentage in 1984-85, which stands as a school record. He is also second (71.8) and fourth (63.3) in that category. HIs 66.4% career field goal percentage is a school record. In addition, he has the school mark for single game free throw percentage with a 15-of-15 performance against Winthrop. His 209 free throws attempted in a season in 1984-85 remains a school record. Recipient of the Charles Bradshaw Award and the M.L. King Leadership Award.
